About KS Philatelics

I started dealing in the early 1990s as a teenager.  I purchased covers from the newly independent former Soviet Republics from a philatelic pen pal in Estonia and sold them through ads in Linn's.     This helped finance my collecting addiction through high school and college.

Later I sold material through eBay, the Hawaiian Philatelic Society, and First Issues Collector's Club auctions to continue to finance the addiction.  This allowed me to purchase large lots and look for gems and varieties to upgrade my collection while sharing the extra material with others.  

Recently I have been servicing want lists for dedicated customers I have met through local clubs and specialty organizations.  Even a few spouses reach out for a special gift for their very lucky loved one.   

Taking it a step further, I have now posted this website to advertise the want list service and have become an APS Dealer Member and a PTS member.  I have purchased the US Possession holdings of a retiring dealer along with collections from prominent US Possessions collectors. 

My primary focus revolves around my collecting interests of US Possession, #1's of the World, and US.  I do go outside those areas when a good opportunity arises.   My eBay and HipStamp listings are a sampling of material.   Please reach out with your areas of interest.
